Cerebral Palsy Football
The Pararoos and ParaMatildas are Australia’s men’s and women’s national football teams for athletes with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury or symptoms acquired from stroke. They are footballers who are determined to change the game, push to achieve beyond expectations and bust myths about what living with a disability looks like.
When I was working with the teams, their football programs were entirely funded by the generosity of the public, through donations via the Australian Sports Foundation.
As a contracted Content Producer, I was to create videos and shoot photos to build brand awareness and drive donations for their programs. This was done by highlighting select players’ individual journeys, providing updates from within camp and coverage of games. The content would then be published on the teams’ social channels, Football Australia’s digital channels and shared by the International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football.
I was responsible for:
Filming and editing videos of the team's training sessions
Editing videos for Pararoos and ParaMatildas social media and pararoos.com.au
Providing photography for editorial and social media use
